Pleated blinds
Pleated blinds are a type of curtains that use accordion-folded fabrics for shading. Depending on the selected variant, it is mounted to the glazing bead with screws or optionally with metal/plastic catches. The blind is operated manually with a handle or with a self-locking mechanism controlled by a cord.
Pleated blinds are a universal solution giving the possibility to cover both the whole window and only a selected part of it (from the bottom as well as from the top). Pleated blinds also work well as shades for roof windows and for windows with irregular shapes.
In some variants, installation in the light of the glass means that no fixture elements protrude from the window sash, which increases comfort of use and reduces the risk of damage to the installation. A wide range of fabrics (including patterned) means that, in addition to practical applications, pleated blinds can also fulfill decorative functions.
